It was saris for Kani, Divya and Chhaya and a dress and jacket for Payal at the closing ceremony of the 2024 Cannes Film Festival. Loved Chhaya in her burgundy Raw Mango benarasi!

They make such a striking ensemble– just like their movie.
Felicitation pour le Grand Prix. They looked spectacular and resplendent in their saris on the stage.
What even is this?? They are at Cannes Film Festival their work??

Not white washed like Bollywood women.
These are actors who would be called side actors/ support actors, at most.
How much charisma, individuality, charm and spunk they display.
How stale and vapid the mainstream stars look in comparison.
And the ladies are brought home the wins!!!
They all look good but a word of appreciation for Hridhu Haroon too (understandably overshadowed by the ladies!). Looks sharp and also wore a dhoti/veshti on the red carpet.
Cannes has been a palate cleanser. A break from Bollywood “aesthetic” and also showing how self conscious and overrated it is.
Indeed – the vapid, clonal, copycat aesthetics of bollywood was getting tiring indeed. these ladies are sparkling – and being themselves.
