Kajol attended the Filmfare Awards wearing a custom Manish Malhotra design which going by Kajol’s IG post was a design that she ideated.
Now, who should we blame here for this suit? Frankly, I do not know. All I know is that it was terrible. Between the design on the sleeve and the wide rhinestone that started at the waist and extended to the hem of the pants, the suit was not flattering her one bit.

I was going to say the same thing! With a personality like hers, clothes seem to matter less.

The idea was ok but the execution is horrendous. Making a bad outfit worse is the chunky loafers . It’s making her look square & stalky. I’m surprised how a designer let his team and workers make this …
I don’t mind the suit actually but I’m pretty sure Manish Malhotra and his team and workers have had ample practice making horrendous outfits especially in recent days 😀
I don’t think this suit is that great but love love love Kajol here! She is beaming like a little kid proud of her artwork.
Someone please ban MM and ask him to take a break and seek new inspiration
Based on her IG post, it seems she wanted to wear menswear which may explain the clunky shoes. However, meanwear could have been executed a thousand times better than this!!
Surely Ajay Devgan’s, Salman Khan and SRK’s (referencing her IG post) suits are far better tailored and styled than this!
I am saying this for the Nth time – MM should stop designing.
