Janhvi who is repping her movie at TIFF 2025 attended two events first in a resham sari from Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and then in a Prada dress and coat from the Spring 2004 collection that used benarasi material for the dress. The sari was pretty and if she’d worn it the Nivi drape way, the look would’ve felt more elegant. As is, I wasn’t a fan and also it just feels so silly to drape the sari this way and then add a shawl and a coat when the right drape would’ve eliminated the need for the shawl/coat.
Loved the Prada look though especially those minimalist Aprajita Toor kolhapuri style sandals.

The saree look is a shame in the name of saree. Her constant need for wearing such atrocious clothes is disturbing.
she’s in great shape, no money is spared to make her look good but all her appearances lack a spark. the make-up is SO meh in the gold dress. how can indian skin look so washed out in a gold benarasi, the colour was MADE for us!
as for the saree look, it’s typical rhea kapoor — look at how many pieces i can source — and to be honest, all the pieces *look* great next to each other, they just don’t make any sense. i get that nepotism supports nepotism, but kuchh to sharam karo!
The Prada look is a knockout. The saree ? Can we have a petition to stop Bollywood ruining absolutely stunning sarees ?
Gowns, dresses and sarees are absolutely on their own in looks and appeal, no point mixing both to get these nowhere results.
Looks like she thinks her girls are her asset more than any thing else and somehow either they should be pushed up or not covered with another layer.
