Janhvi attended an event on Monday wearing a vintage dress from Miu Miu’s Spring 2003 collection with strappy sandals and her hair in an updo. No denying that she looked great but point to note is her multiple appearance in Chinese-inspired outfits. First the Cheongsam-inspired Cavalli, last year, then the custom Anamika Khanna (see far below) featuring Chinese embroidery and now this Cheongsam silhoutte again in the Miu Miu.

Am not complaining though, she has been looking good in them.

  1. That red thing looks more like a top and she looks like she left home after forgetting to wear a skirt or trousers. The yellow outfit looks pretty.

  2. Sorry. This is not a good look on her at all. I always feel way too much second hand embarrassment for Janhvi. Sridevi must be rolling in her grave at Janhvi’s choices of attire. The one shown on the mannequin is just fine and dignified. The way Janhvi has worn it, not so much.
I understand and am perfectly okay with sexy.
The yellow one, thankfully, was okay.
But 9 times out of 10, her choices border on disrespectable and undignified.

  3. Is she the brand ambassador for Miu Miu ? I see her wearing it very so often. Inlike her in both the outings but the yellow one is way more classier .. and thank God for any other hair than those waves she sports which feel dated.
    So a good outing overall

  4. the red outfit looks dangerously short AND awkward! would have looked so much better long with a side slit. both sisters have all the inspo+stylists to serve looks, but as with many of the current crop, they lack innate style and that *star* quality.

  5. More than the outbound link, you should be worried about the personal attaCK comment. I visit this site every day and while there are million other sites, I choose this page for it being monitored and for promptly deleting toxic comments posted by anonymous keyboard warriors. Payal, I trust you to remove the “rolling in her grave” comment, I am sure you missed seeing it otherwise you would have not approved
