While on the sets of a television show to promote her latest entrepreneurial venture, Genelia was photographed in a pair of embellished pants and suspender set by Nikita Mhaisalkar. Teaming it with a white top, she rounded out the look with big earrings and black boots. Fan of the look? Can’t say I was. It just looked so fussy and dated!

How does such a precious and beautiful woman end up wearing such horrendous outfits?! Don’t tell me she has stylists who let her walk out like this!!! She needs new stylist then!
Dated and costumy..
What on earth is that? How can anyone choose to dress up in this? And not only dress up but even step out in this?
But for her lovely smile…
This look was going somewhere. The Either Genelia or the stylist chose to not edit this look.
1) top knot/ messy hair piled on top, hair pulled back in a low ponytail instead of the standard open hair is making the look busy on the shoulders/ around the beautiful face.
2) buttoned up with earrings/ buttoned down with stud earrings. Only one thing can be the star. Not both.
3) better fit on the crotch which means loosening the suspenders by an inch so it’s not giving the lady a camel toe.
4) the bottom of the pants could’ve been folded to 1” thickness instead of the fat band which is cutting her length. Or don’t fold the pants alter the length.
5) those pointy booties may make sense once the bottom of those pants are adjusted.
Styling is so much more than just curating different clothes and accessories. Fits, body types and proportions make so much difference. It sucks that a lot of stylists don’t pay attention to these details.
