In Raw Mango

Fatima attended a book launch on Saturday wearing a Raw Mango sharara set. While she wore a dupatta for her photoshoot, she chose to skip it for the event, a move that I thought was a bad one. The earrings were barely visible and didn’t quite makeup for the bare neckline making the look overall feel unfinished.

Agree? Disagree?

  1. Wish she hadn’t skipped the dupatta. And that the dupatta was draped differently.

Its is pretty outfit ruined to bits by bad styling. Le sigh!

    • She knows it goes well with dupata but choosing not to wear it at the event attended by people suffering from epilepsy (just like her) is apt and thoughtful. Dressing down just to blend in and not making it all about her.

  2. First she attended an event to celebrate epilepsy awareness month not a book launch. I think she purposely dressed down so as not to outshine the other participants most of whom also suffer from epilepsy just like her.

  3. Raw mango always give the feel of bare, they do great with colors and fabrics and prints. But it definitely requires accessorising to look complete. Fatima looks washed out, it’s a nice suit.

  4. Fatima Sana Shaikh went for an event celebrating Epilepsy Awareness Month and not a book launch. I think she purposely dressed down to be humble and to blend in with the participants who are mostly suffering of epilepsy just like her. It’s not about glamour that’s always associated with celebrities.

  5. Regarding the event this look is not bad but kinda agree that this look needed a duppatta and carrying a dupatta does not make this look festively. The sharara did.

  6. Agree, the pink from the dupatta would have given a certain glow and completed the look. As is like you say it’s bare and a bit blah. Wasted opportunity

  7. No way she looked bared.
I totally support this look. Its bit muted and there should be placed for such a look in plethora of others that you support.

Love you Fatima, You looked ethereal in my book :-0
