Wearing Yanina Couture, Deepika served up some old-school glamour while at a recent awards event. The gown worked for her, her make-up however, not so much. Outside of Instagram, her eye make-up just didn’t photograph well and brought down an otherwise great look. Bit of a miss this!

She looks very tired.
The jewels are beautiful.. the sleeves are unrequired. It’s a good look but really bad hairstyling and unhealthy seeming make up.
Agree, everything looks nice except for the utterly sad eyes. I don’t know for how long she is going to continue the smudged teary eyed look, I’m waiting for it to end so we can see some joy on her face again!
It beats me why one would force one self to look sad with makeup!
This look desperately needed hair tied up . The hair ruined everything. Also why the awful makeup these days .
Yes the eye makeup is bringing down look…But I don’t think the earrings were needed either …much too much …
Just the necklaces would have looked better
Again the dramatic sleeves which aren’t doing much for the outfit. She looks the same to me, super thick brows and eye makeup all over the place.
She looks really tired, not sure if its the makeup or she really was…but I love the gown, it really suits her tall frame and she looks fab!!

God, I am a huge Deepika fan and love that gown on her but what have they done to her gorgeous face! She looks jaded and almost sick, like she has just recovered from a bout of fever!
I think these are the worst pics of her in the dress. The lighting and angle is off. She looked nice and the eye makeup was on point everywhere else.
I am just glad changed up her hair. Makes it young and fresh.

Horrible make up, makes her look tired and racoonish. dress esp sleeves is ridiculous. that gown cut is not doing anything for her.
I was excited to see her Instagram. She looked great. And then I saw each single other picture of her from the night – argh!!

This is her original complexion. She looked so pale before and now following a holiday tan, the real skin color has re-surfaced.
her eyebrow situation is getting SERIOUSLY out of hand. there’s overdrawn and overfilled and then there’s THIS. jeez.
Her MUA makes a beautiful woman look otherwise. And the hair is the worst part here.
She is human and should be allowed to look tired. I can’t stand all these comments bashing her for looking tired. I know she has a glam team but she is still human and it should be completely okay for her to look tired. We don’t know what she’s going thorough in her personal life.

Yeah this red eye makeup is awful.
This is the bit about DP that is annoying – she tries something new, it fails. She tries again, it fails and then she repeats the mistake around 10000x more times till she looks so awful and people seriously start slamming her when she shakes things up.
I wonder if she is hell bent on making people like her choices (when she looks awful) until she finally concedes defeat? We saw this with her chipku hair which she sported EVERYWHERE and looked skeletal and awful and finally something clicked and she changed.
Why can’t you look at these pics DP/Shaleena and see how she ends up looking? Such a pretty, hot lady and such a travesty in terms of style.
Probably the first time I don’t am not envious of DP and much happier with my own self.Thanks to her stylist and MUA.
Probably they envy her too, deep inside..That could be the only reason that would explain this disaster.
