In Gauri And Nainika

Comment image 22

Wearing a floral-print Gauri and Nainika gown, Deepika attended a press meet. Slicked back hair and pair of black slingbacks rounded out the actor’s look. Not a fan of the print itself but Deepika sure made the dress work for her; she looked good!

P.S: Click on ‘more’ for pictures of her co-stars, Jon Abraham and Shah Rukh Khan.

  1. Deepika leaves me wanting for more somehow.

Love how John Abraham does not give up to the Bollywood pressure of suiting up always and sticks to his own style aesthetic — comfy and classy always.

  2. gotta love it when a woman doesn’t feel she needs to dress down her height.
the dress looks fine in pic 1 but it’s washed out under the studio lights.

  3. Love the print and the dress it’s fresh and different. The neckline looks forced and is flattening her chest.
    The gentlemen looks great!
One thing I noticed and felt glad about was that Deepika is wearing heels…usually when the male actor is shorter the ladies have to give up on their heels… Kudos to Shahrukh’s self confidence

  5. The bust fitting seemed a bit off in the videos but she sure looked great!

This looks is right up her alley.

And both her co-stars are serious eye candy!

  6. impossible to look away from SRK tbh! 🙂 DP looks great, but the dress isn’t a good fit. in all but the 1st pic, the princessy waistline has to much bunching happening, making it look like she has a paunch which she does not. it’s also not the right length for her and hits at a weird spot. ironic considering the dress was custom made for her

  7. She looks fab! Finally a fitted outfit that doesn’t drown her. How utterly deliciously good looking is this cast?!! Can’t take my eyes away from the men. SRK needs a separate post!

  8. While so looks alright here, I wish you would do a comparative series on Deepika’s looks from Pathaan – styling and HMU. i think she looked sensational in the film. There wasn’t a scene where she didn’t serve including the casual looks!! It would be amazing to see that compared with her styling on a day to day basis. Do we know who styled her in the film? It doesnt feel like Shaleena – it was too good to be her.

  11. I can’t be the only one who thought that the hair didn’t suit the dress and look at all? She has such beautiful hair, why not keep it down and styled in a normal way to enhance the elegance of the dress?

and even though the dress was pretty, the neckline was AWFUL. Her chest looked so squished and uncomfortable almost like she was trying to highlight it. I wish the dress had a normal neckline.

I feel like she never gets it right

  12. Did not like this dress at all! The pleats along the waist line look poorly conceptualised and tailored for a designer brand. The print too busy and overall not a style that is suited for a press meet in my opinion. She looks great, I don’t think the dress is contributing to that.
