Wow she looks breathtaking gorgeous! Love it. Love the color of the gown her hair her make up and that necklace pairing.. so glamorous yet subtle.
Love that she is wearing an indian designer but why is it so poorly tailored? Puckered, wrong fabric, bad finish.
This is not what custom couture should look like!

Except, note to Indian designers madames Gauri and Nainika : Up close at the celeb mingle – I dont wanna be seen in that band-aid colored cleavage concealer. Either find me the sheerest, nudest, strongest hose ever or reduce the depth of the daring plunge or go full monty with the daring plunge, some ds sticky tape, no sheer hose concealer. Indian women with smaller cup sizes can absolutely pull it off without coming off as sleazy like this statuesque Indian actress.

i totally agree! and it’s not that deepika has not worn a plunging neckline before. she has and some have been very risque. hat these “cleavage concealers” :))
I totally agree, Jord! The illusion net panel IS very distracting and does look like nude masking tape.
The gown would have worked better with a deep vee neck without any illusion netting at all. Deepika can easily carry it off with elegance.
If illusion netting absolutely HAD to used, then the designers should have picked a colour very close to the wearer’s skin tone and/or with a sheer finish.
I agree, gown could have had a better finish. Deepika looks fabulous nonetheless

A faultless look after ages! This might seem a little outdated but at least it’s her. This is her style and it’s why she looks most comfortable. Deepika and team should stay away from creating ‘moments’ and just ace this ‘it girl’ fashion.

I have seen Shaleena wear exactly the same clothes like Deepika. Its like she brings her personal style to Deepika instead of letting Deepika define her own style.

Neck up she looks fabulous. The colour of the gown is beautiful.. the bust area though is a bit of a blooper.
Love the color of the dress, her makeup and hair but the gown seems to be a bit oddly made. the rouching in that area seems off and the cleavage concealer makes it look bad. she has carried off gowns with plunging necklines with ease before in other outings so the designers here failed a bit. Or they could have made it less plunging!!

Dippy looks divine here- finally justice to that statuesque figure and a color palette that goes with her skin tone. She looks absolutely ethereal and is rocking old Hollywood glamour here – such a far cry from her overdone stark looks of yore.
Dippy needs to keep the stylist who got her this look instead of the old one who has no clue how to personalize style.
