From The Archives: In Dior

We sure are envious of Ms. Chawla. Not only does she have an enviable job, she makes sure she looks darn good while doing it.

As for this particular dress, it makes a lot more of an impact on the runway than off it. While we do actually like the dress, it just seems so much more dialled down, especially with the tank inside on KC. Considering it was Paris Fashion Week, wish Ms. Chawla had chosen if not riskier then at least another not-so-day an outfit. Having said that, we much prefer this on any given day of the week over the blue disaster that was Ms. Pinto.

In Narendra Kumar

It was no surprise to see Kadambari wearing a Narendra Kumar at the launch of ‘Creo’, a new store in Mumbai. We are surprised though that she didn’t wear something from the exclusive collection Narendra created for the store. But then, having seen owner Ami Jhaveri sporting one of the dresses, we are glad that she stuck to this red strapless number. It was far better than the metallic dhoti-skirt (watchamacallit!) dress.

Lara in Elle India: Decoded

Even though we’ve seen two out of the four outfits featured on Lara already make an appearance in the September issue of Harpers Bazaar ( featuring Bipasha), the styling of this shoot just totally blows the other out of the water (even though that was good too). Of course, the whole team should get credit but ‘Wowza’ at Lara! This spread has left us wanting more. More of Lara in print.

You can catch Bipasha in the D&G and wearing the Marilyn print Dolce gown in her interview with HeadlinesToday Here and Lara’s inteview in Elle Here.

Deepika on Verve India: (Un)Covered

Update: Ms. Padukone is wearing the dress and not the jumpsuit. Thanks ‘RK’ and ‘belle deese’.

The November edition of Verve serves up Ms. Padukone wearing a Monisha Jaisingh sequin jumpsuit fresh off the Couture Week runway. While I am not a fan of the design of the jumpsuit (the v-neck), angelic is what came to mind when I saw Deepika on the cover. Your thoughts on the cover?

In Neeta Lulla

We’ve seen many a Neeta Lulla creation on here and most of them have invariably fallen under the ‘WTHeyyy’ category. This one though, while not quite a ‘WTheyyy’, isn’t the best either, but, we sure wouldn’t mind seeing more of this style rather than ugly dhoti/nartaki pants or uber-blingy sari-like lehengas.

Update: Thanks for the ID help!
