In Manish Malhotra

Another day, another MM sighting, this time on Ms. Zinta who was the Grand Marshall at this year’s Independence Day parade in NYC.

We thought she looked great in her pink Manish Malhotra outfit; so very fresh!!

(More pics inside.)

Fab!

Ana Singh might have dressed the models for Farah’s show, but it was an outfit by Seema & Jamila Malhotra (designer duo from Bangalore) that Farah wore to her show.

We thought Farah looked absolutely lovely.

In Zara

Soniya channeled a princess look (her words not ours) in a beige Zara dress with a handmade floral headdress. I am all for a flirty/feminine look but this one feels much too cute for my taste. You like?

In Alexander McQueen

It is not easy to pull off the crazy designs that come from the late designer Alexander McQueen‘s collections and I could totally see someone else go the safe route and pair this edgy dress with pumps but not Ms. Poonawala. She makes the look even more whimsical by adding YSL Starry sandals paired with a white clutch and comes off looking great. Love it! (Love love love it!)

On The Ramp: Part Deux

While Lilette and Ira Dubey walked for Mirari & Sons in Gauri and Nainika, Queenie walked alongside her showstopper Dino (wearing a locket from her design) in a Vizyon design. Both gowns seemed much too long for the ladies (Lilette and Queenie) with them holding it up with their hands and it didn’t translate well in pictures. Adding to the gown woes was Lilette’s hair, it looks so badly done. Ira, on the other hand looked great in her short number.

You’ll remember Suzanne wearing the same gown Lilette (with the rosette detail) has on for Farah Khan Ali’s show at the Couture Week Jewellery show held last year (see here).
