For their recent outing, both Shanaya and Ananya went full glam in their gowns, with the former in Giovanni and the the latter in Yousef Al Jasmi. Updos in place, both ladies rounded out their look red-toned lip color. While the young actors wore their gowns well, it just felt so excessive. At an event like this, why not have fun given all the choices available to them?

Wearing a sparkly Falguni and Shane Peacock mini, Parineeti attended Karan Johar’s 50th birthday bash on Wednesday evening. Wish she’d worn pumps instead of those ankle-strap sandals. She looked nice, nevertheless.

It was Magda Butrym for Katrina last night. Understated jewelry and pair of metallic sandals complemented the look well. The feather embellishment adds just enough novelty to feel like Katrina’s changing things up, while the look in its entirety still felt comfortably right up her alley.

Look, Katrina is among the very few to have figured out a distinct and/or consistent individual style (whether it’s exciting or not is entirely subjective) and given the stylist/industry-driven clones we have to deal with on a regular basis, that is not to be taken lightly.

Coming to this outing… Not my favorite look from the night, but Katrina makes it work for her.

Like Twinkle, Kareena picked a silver sequinned Paco Rabanne to wear as well. A matching silver clutch and pair of minimalist black sandals rounded out her look.

Kareena looked nice, but personally am just not the biggest fan of this dress on her… Am I the only one feeling underwhelmed?

Janhvi kept things simple and fuss-free (if you can call a fully sequined gown that) in Manish Malhotra. Wavy hair, diamond jewelry and platform-heeled sandals rounded out her look. This might not be a popular opinion but eveningwear is not this label’s forte… Those seams and the back clasp, just not it.

Janhvi looked nice but the whole look itself was rather uninspired.
