As much as I loved the way this dress was presented on the Fall runway, off of it, it’s been one big dud. Seen first on Deepika on the cover of a magazine, couldn’t help but think the omitted bow-tie killed the charm of the dress just a tad. And now having seen it on Ms. Poonawala, am convinced either the dress needs to be worn as shown or not at all.

Spotted on Narmada (daughter of Govinda), a blue version of the Nandita Mahtani kaftan seeing first on Tabu in a black one. Both ladies wore it with silver sandals but while Tabu was more casual, Narmada was more dressed up.

The purple one made its appearance on Bipasha (after being spotted on many a covers), guess, it was only a matter of time before the orange one also got spotted closer to home. 😛

Love both the dresses, do wish we had a full-length of Kangana from the Cosmo editorial.

If Ms. Koppikar thought that she could wear those quirky style footwear better, we hate to break the news, she didn’t. The dress itself was overwhelming enough with those exaggerated shoulders and not one we liked either. It did nothing for her figure.

But, who do you prefer?
