Wearing Pratima Gaurav’s signature ruffle sari were Simone and an unidentified guest at the races.

The whole chiffon sari and cat-eye sunglasses had a great vintage vibe to it but the blouse let lovely Simone down rather badly. The length and fit of the sleeve was just so off. The lady in white fared way better.

Ms. Sharma might have also been in character considering she too performed at the music launch. For the event, she picked an ombré Anita Dongre maxi, a pink version of which we’ve seen on Urmila.

Not that we are a fan of the design itself, but between the two, think Dipannita fares better. The bangs didn’t quite work on Urmila. Neither did the metallic accessories.

Seen on Neha (and Shibani), this yellow Falguni and Shane Peacock gown was seen on Pooja at the ongoing India Kids Fashion Week. We think Neha with the sleek hair wins this one.

At the launch of her bespoke services, accessory designer Malini Agarwalla paired a James Ferreira dress with black denims, black pumps and jewelry from her own label.

The dress/tunic didn’t work with those denims and, while we understand the need for jewelry, it (the necklace) just didn’t work with the outfit. It’s hard to imagine those embellished pumps working with anything.

Sona went red for the red carpet tonight at the Screen awards in a Notte By Marchesa column gown which was coincidentally also worn by Katrina last year to the same event.

Adding red lips to the gown was rather overwhelming. Katrina was our pick here.
