In Gauri and Nainika

Comment image 11

Bhumi attended an event on Friday evening wearing a one-shouldered midi dress by Gauri and Nainika. The length of the dress wasn’t really flattering here and wish she’d done a top knot instead of wearing her hair side-parted. As is, not impressed. Were you?

She was seen in a JJ Valaya sari for another event which was a much better appearance. Catch it inside.

  1. I actually think that hair as is makes for a less sever look and goes with the fun vibe of the dress. She looks good! (both in the dress and the saree)

  2. She looks lovely in the saree. makeup, hair, jewelry everything is so on point and looks great on her.

Don’t like the dress sighting at all, like you say the length and the waist synch poofing out into the bottom, the makeup up/ hair…all makes for a not so flattering look.

Most of the saree looks are such winners across most celebrities, really wish they’d embrace this more and less of the cut and pastiness of western social influencers.

  3. Love the saree look obviously, but I think more praise ought to go to more “real” pic. Bhumi (or her team) need to let go of editing all her insta pics go through, she is (more than) fine as she is. Just breathe and smile, you are okay girl. We on the other side of camera ain’t looking for barbie dolls to idolize.

  4. Is that a Silk saree? Looks very similar to the printed silk sarees from Gandhi Ashram. Print reminds me of the days when Mom and my Aunt used to wear to their schools during winters of North India.

  5. The saree look is a 10/10. After a long time makeup, hair, jewelry and styling has really come together for Bhumi. Love!

The dress isn’t that bad either. A bit lesser poof/frills around the bust and shoulders, different shoes and toned down make up and this would have been a winner too.
