Out And About
These young ladies were photographed at a Mumbai restaurant not too long ago, wearing what most of Gen Z seems to favor these days. Like their look?

In today’s episode of Keeping up with the Bolly-Clones…
All of Gen Z dressing like they have no money. LA streetstyle taken down several notches with mish mash in the name of fashion. A terrible transition from the prior era. I’ll take my skinny jeans and side part. Thx
Except for Suhana, both look tacky.
I keep seeing gen Y or mellenials dressing up like these girls. Fashion at times baffles my mind.
If anyone watched the video, Ananya and Shanaya fared much better..Suhana constantly pulling her top up looked very tacky..why wear something if you can’t adjust it properly?
Is Gen-Z always ready to go clubbing?
I think they all look confident in their looks, pulled together, effortless, and current. What’s up with all the hate? We should do more to support young women, rather then tear them down for no real reason.
Yessss! Thanks for saying that.
If all of us have to love all the looks of all these youngsters then what’s the point of this page.
no hate. it looks like trying too hard to be I don’t even know what.. hopefully they will figure it out
I agree. Having an opinion on a dress is one thing but just painting a broad brush on everyone in a generation for their choices( which might be different than ours) is not cool
It’s more about whether it looks good or not.
Pr kindly get off this page. This is a page for fashion critique. So their will be opinions. Their is a difference between hate vs giving opinions. They should be able to know how to take the feedback
Also the reason is very much real. We are here to critique not to hate. So enough of this high bullshit talk
Completely agree with V. This is the current style and young people of every generation follow the fashion of their times (yes, somewhat blindly). So what?
hey we like tight short drresses but hey we are also youthful/young so lets add the shoes to make this statement stand out..So many mature ladies also doing the same on these pages
Why would the 3rd young lady wear formal pants that are more office appropriate with the crop top
Ananya’s cup is ready to spill ;(..
Thanks for confirming that she is young and has something that can spill out pleasingly:).
More seriously a young person can wear a sack and look great. Let these kids have fun and wear whatever they like.
I’m taken aback by the level of negativity of these comments. They are still young women who are daughters, sisters, etc. Let’s keep the comments at a level of decorum. Comments for the clothes: I love Suhana’s pants, they just need a little hemming or higher heels. The top I think could have been no cut outs, high neck white crop, short sleeved. Could have been an awesome look. I love that Ananya always wears unexpected colors, the lilac is refreshing! Maybe like some summer wedge heels instead of the silver kicks? Shanaya in white and white is nice and simple, the cut out shape unfortunately is not the most fun, if it was like angled instead of round I think the dress could have looked more fierce. <3
The pr??
What decorum have bor been maintained pr. Can’t you distinguish between hate vs critisizm or your clients don’t know how to take one
Remember how our moms always hated what we wore and let’s try and break free of this hate-loop
No one’s hating pr. Just giving the honest opinions which your client can’t seem to handle because of zero styling and fashion sense
Not my cup of tea, these dresses are. Without the cutouts, maybe. But that is just me. I love to see teenagers and twenty somethings rock some colors and quirky patterns. And Suhana’s trouser length is a tad bit too long. They all look good but the clothes look more club wear than dinner wear.
Well, millennials sported some prrettty terrible trends around ten years ago if I remember correctly. Just go through the archives.
I love it that this blog allows us to do exactly that – go to the archives!
It isn’t the clothes- and yes, it is hard to find your fashion identity when you are young…
What worries me is the return of the fashionable ultra thin body -late 90s, 2000s trend (Paris Hilton comes to mind) . It was unhealthy then and it is unhealthy now.
It is still hard to be curvy but one hopes Beyonce and now, Megan Thee Stallion and others have a more positive impact on female body image perceptions and trends.
Opinion and “hate” are 2 very different things. This is a critique blog. Not the instagram influencers paid comments section
Gen Zzzzzzz… totally uninspired dressing
