In Costarellos

Wearing a gown by Costarellos, Alia attended a recent Awards event in Mumbai. Dainty jewelry and chunky sandals rounded out the actor’s look. I guess we are so overexposed to full on, red carpet ready evening gowns all the time (and everywhere) that a perfectly normal gown feels somewhat meh. I didn’t mind the look though, Alia looked nice. Definitely better than the recent oversized suits that she’s been spotted in; those do absolutely nothing for her!

In Maliche

For her appearance at an Awards event held over the weekend, Malaika picked a gown by Maliche to wear. Sleek hair and a statement necklace rounded out her look. Between the sparkles and feathers, can’t say I was a big fan of the gown. Also, the whole look just feels so very ‘same ol, same ol’!

In Mrunalini Rao

Wearing a Mrunalini Rao lehenga, Vidya attended an Awards event held not too long ago. With her hair pulled back in to a knot, she rounded out the look with an Amrapali necklace.

I am not the biggest fan of this lehenga but do think Vidya made it work for her; she looked good. That said, I do wish she had opted for a softer do. I get that the choice of hairstyle was perhaps to balance out the busy print/embellished details and statement necklace, but it still seemed too severe. A minor gripe only though.
