Wearing a gown by Costarellos, Alia attended a recent Awards event in Mumbai. Dainty jewelry and chunky sandals rounded out the actor’s look. I guess we are so overexposed to full on, red carpet ready evening gowns all the time (and everywhere) that a perfectly normal gown feels somewhat meh. I didn’t mind the look though, Alia looked nice. Definitely better than the recent oversized suits that she’s been spotted in; those do absolutely nothing for her!

oh gosh, that beige suit would work only on a glamazon like Deepika! the blue dress is fine but that Angelina pose is 11 years old now!
The gown n her necklace r fab.. wish she had chosen nude pumps or some sleeker footwear
If there is one thing I have learned is to wear clothes that fit, she is swimming in both the suits and the green dress is too long and don’t get me started on those shoes
All three outfits is for a tall body. She keeps on drowning herself in fabric that eats up her body frame.
It’s a shame because she usually kills it in Indian attire.
If she’s doing baggy yo cover her figure it’s silly, cause she looks perfectly thin n fit in gym spottings. Green is a beautiful Color on her and just needed a more oriented style, as an outfit it’s full with bad fit, big sleeves. Layers, slits, what not.
I loved the green gown bar those chunky sandals..I don’t know why they’re still around!
The makeup is stellar in the green gown.
The outfits, not so much. But I guess she may be figuring out what works for her post-partum figure, and we should cut her some slack here. To the outsider, she may look perfectly fit, but body image issues rarely give way to logic.
I agree on this take. Was watching an interview of her expressing how she never found anything that fit even during her pregnancy. It can be so tough to come to terms with the changes in one’s body after pregnancy.
As a new mom, I am ok with her experimenting with some looser silhouettes.
Why though?
She is great as is – more so than ‘regular’ moms who have no/lesser help comparatively.
Not a diss to them at all – in-fact, this just shows that pregnancy and child birth takes a toll on everyone’s body confidence – when it should absolutely not.
We are all so quick and harsh to judge ourselves and others, when we should be celebrating our bodies that led to creation of a new life!!
She looks ridiculous in all of them. Who would have thought she would imitate Neha Dhupia’s tentwear.

The gown looks great. So does the jewelry. But the shoes suck.
