It was a Gauri and Nainika gown for Waluscha while at a recent Awards event. Wearing her hair up, she finished out the look with a pair of matching earrings and pink lip. Though the combination of fabric and flash made it look as if the dress was a little too snug at the hips, there was no denying Ms. De Sousa looked lovely.

It doesn’t happen very often, but when it does, we’ve always wondered what the ladies in question thought when they caught sight of the other wearing a similar look as them. We’d laugh it off, which is what we are guessing happened at the GQ event when Deepika and Aditi crossed paths wearing not only similar Gaurav Gupta gowns but even styled similarly.

While Deepika added drama with heavily smoked eyes, Aditi went the softer route with a light pink lip. In this match-up, we have to give the round to Aditi… The overall look just worked better.

It was a Monisha Jaising gown for Pernia while at the GQ Awards held last evening. Given the bodice and volume, going with softer hair and make-up was a good call! The gown is tricky at best but one that Ms. Qureshi wears well.

For her appearance at an event held in Mumbai last evening, Zoa picked an Anushree Reddy lehenga. She looked pretty! But really, the burning question was… Is it a dupatta? Is it a cape? No, it’s a designer detail that left us confused!

While she fared better than perhaps most others would have wearing the look, we just couldn’t warm up to the dupatta-cape here.
