For her appearance at IIFA Rocks, Kalki picked a Sabyasachi sari to wear. With her hair pulled back in to a low knot, pink lip color and pair of simple hoop earrings rounded out the actor’s look.

First, you’d think the ivory would look washed out on her skin tone but that wasn’t the case at all. She looked radiant! That said, the look wasn’t a home-run. We weren’t the biggest fans of the belt. And how we wish she had worn the pallu just a tad wider on the midriff. She looked lovely waist-up but lost us at the drape/styling.

After rain put bit of a dampener on things in New York, Nargis gave us our first sighting of the evening.

Ms. Fakhri chose to keep things simple in a black dress from Intrinsic. With her hair teased in to beach-y waves, the actor finished out the look with Isharya earrings, pink lip color and pair of simple black sandals.

We look forward to this pre-Awards event because it’s just the night to take a few fashion risks. While this appearance doesn’t check that box, Nargis looked nice even if in an entirely safe way. Hopefully she ups that ante tomorrow.

At the Filmfares, Pragya was photographed in a Valentin Yudashkin gown. Wearing her hair down in soft waves, the actor rounded out her look with jewelry from Belleza and pair of strappy sandals. She looked good!

Blame it on Santa, but we can just look at sequins and velvet in that particular combination and not think Christmas/holiday season. Wish the velvet sash/belt was a different color but it was a minor gripe. Like we said, Ms. Jaiswal looked good!

Giving princess-y volume a miss, Sonam brought the drama via custom Elie Saab couture. Wispy updo and custom jewelry from Kalyan Jewellers rounded out the actor’s red carpet look.

We haven’t seen her do a gown like this before, so it certainly felt fresh. The look had a very ‘One Thousand and One Nights’ vibe, the reboot version of course. She looked great!

Wearing an embellished satin-silk slip dress by Tommy Hilfiger, Deepika attended the Met Gala in New York tonight. A diamanté headband in place, the actor finished out the look with statement earrings, cat-eye and nude-ish lip.

Did the dress fit in with the theme? Not quite.
Did Deepika work her look? She did.
Did we expect more from her at the Met Gala? You bet we sure did!
