For her cousin’s wedding festivities, Ananya picked a pink pleated lehenga by Amit Aggarwal for one occasion and an embellished floral lehenga by Tarun Tahiliani for another. And you might recall seeing the latter on Nora here.
The Amit Aggarwal lehenga was interesting but both looks just felt so bare. Neither look was exciting enough to give us a pause. Meh!

Amit Agarwal creation is ugly and weird…. probably the fit of the blouse is also off. Comparatively Tarun Tahiliani’s creation is better even though it’s “same old same old”

She wore these crass outfits for wedding events. Wow..way to class it up….NOT! Weren’t you girls dissing a dude for showing up in tracks (whether he actually attended the event is immaterial) at the same event?
Boring, tacky, unimaginative; these young ladies need to stop dressing like clones of each other, and more importantly, stop catering to male gaze. They need to rebel against the idea that you can look great only when u show skin.

if women say we have a great toned body so why not show it off ..yes but catering to whom? and why arent men doing the same..simpley they dont feel the need to..this need to display skin in these tacky outfits is what is setting women empowerment back.

Lehengas so big the top in comparison looks like boob stickers. She looks sweet, nice soft hues.
i actually liked the pleated skirt for lehenga concept but will pass on those weird sea creature choli.
i kinda liked the fact that she played it down for her cousin’s wedding, presumably to allow her to shine. but yeah. a bit of jewellery here and there wouldn’t have been amiss

All these outfits remind me of the “Victoria’s Secret” body image song by Jax. I wish these actresses who have the money, connections would take a stand and put a stop to these atrocious outfits.

I am liking the skirts in both looks, especially the TT, but she seems to drown in them owing to the sheer size.
Her lehenga looks are in the same silhouette for the past two years that I am stifling a yawn right now.
The outfit by Amit agarwal is terrible- so much fabric for the lehanga and almost none for the er top.. why? that too cold shouldered? time to change.. skin show actually takes away from your designs and is more about the person’s physical attributes. if anything you need to use more fabric and imagination
