In Tony Ward Couture

After doing menswear the evening before, Alia opted for a strapless custom gown from Tony Ward Couture. Hair pulled back into a sleek bun and black studs finished out her look. She looked good!

  1. Any other actress and the commentary would have been “look lacks novelty” or “nothing to write about”, but because it’s Alia she somehow gets a free pass and a compliment to top it off 🙂 It’s a clean look though I’d give her that!

  2. If it were anyone else “that pulled back hairstyle does not work with this outfit” lol the bias

Or you would have written “this outfit is in dire need of some color!!!”

  3. Sleek open hair wud have been better on Alia .. this scalped bun is too harsh on her face. Fitting at the bust also seems off

  4. Nope. The gown is swallowing her.
Sometimes, it is better to accept that one is not meant to pull of certain silhouettes and make peace with it.

She is small and petite. And the design and fabric is making her look like a dress up doll.

  5. Nothing is great about this look, it’s just normal. It’s Alia, so everything is good. That dewy makeup looks like she is sweating so much and hair is like ‘bad hair day’ for her.

  6. Looks fabulous, the hair especially th the Japanese style bun is getting common in bw these days, this look needed a distinct hairstyle, but well it’s a damn good . A classic black gown, does not fail.

  7. Dress is fine (not path breaking but appropriate), but everything else is bringing it down. The hair and/or makeup deserved to be more vibrant, as did the jewellery. Overall, this look is just OK. We have definitely seen Alia Bhatt do much better.

  8. Best she has ever looked! I almost gasped with awe. A high fashion look from a Bollywood actress after a long time. Yes, her dress looks like Deepika’s Oscar’s outfit but Alia gives it even more of an Audrey Hepburn vibe.
