Alia attended an awards event on Sunday wearing a velvet sari from Manish Malhotra with drop earrings. I loved that she showed some restraint and opted for just the drop earrings. She looked great!
Am surprised though she opted for a velvet sari so quickly after this appearance.

Not flattering at all. That neck looks extremely bare and awkward . The color is doing nothing for her and the saree lacks novelty. This look for me was a downer.

The blouse does not fit her well, maybe it needed someone with square n broader shoulders
MM can’t even copy Sabya that well . The color is weird and it’s different on both sides . It is like he took a piece of the strangest color ( can’t say if it’s black gray olive or metallic ) and stitched gold lace on either side . The blouse is another blingy bikini in the same strange color and the drape , ugh !

The blouse is too big for her but the color of the saree and the makeup are superlative on her.

She looks nice , atleast the color and look is slightly different for MM ( no sequin saree ). This whole concept of showing the blouse constantly , always makes saree looks messy and represented so badly . Even if the pallu is up over her shoulder we can see the embroidery and blouse details , something Bollywood actresses don’t seem to understand.

Love the hair, face with minimal jewelry. Like the dark color of the saree. Don’t understand the one boob show, low drape on the Pallu nor the lace on the blouse. The lighter color contrast on the back of the saree does nothing for me either.
