In Elie Saab Couture
Alia attended a gala dinner at the ongoing Red Sea International Film Festival wearing a strapless floral painted gown from Elie Saab‘s Autumn/Winter 2025/2026 collection. Am glad she skipped on the pink shrug here. This was a simple and striking look and she looked good in it.
P.S. Yes she was styled by Rhea Kapoor and I think we can agree this one was a winner.

Looked better on her than on the model! Beautiful earth goddess vibes
Rhea has copied the the model as is, sans the shrug. Same beachy hair, nude makeup – right down to the lip colour. What’s the applause for? For copying?
Now it is another story that Alia looks good here. However, the look feels slightly bare – the pink shrug addition would have been nice. Also, she needs to work on her expressions. In all the images, her expressions are coming across as forced with her usual flared nose.
Pretty amazing including the hair styling.. idk why she’s avoiding colors and going pale nude in every make up job, it’s kinda ageing her.
Exactly.. makeup dulls her
Really, I am not sold. The dress is too long and gathering at the bottom in a really weird way. This might not be the right dress for a petite girlie.
I see a real bias on this page against Rhea Kapoor recently and it’s more than a little strange that her being the stylist seems to get more attention than the looks or the people wearing them. Sad to this from a woman run page.
If you notice, unlike other stylists she really likes to take primary credit for the looks she sources and places. And so, it is completely fair to provide feedback.
Agreed and if she creates such blah looks – she will get feedback as a stylist given how much flaunting she does as “the stylist”. Increasingly she is becoming this person who sources opulent curtain like stuff and drapes
It on wrong body types. Alia also gets the flak for choosing everything pale – she does not have the figure or size to pull it off.
Gorgeoussssss. I wantttttt that dresss!!!!
Nope, this is not a winning look. The bias is glaring—Kriti gets called comical with a backhanded compliment while Alia is handled like she’s made of glass. Anyone else would’ve been torn apart for this outfit. The dress overwhelms her frame; it’s puddling at the bottom and looks like a trip waiting to happen. The bust fit is off – look at how it’s popping off in the side angle. The makeup is too soft for an evening look and washes her out completely. A bold lip and striking eyes would’ve helped. Payal usually nitpicks others mercilessly, so the kid-glove treatment here is just… funny. With Alia ad Rhea it’s again the same story : create looks for instagram editorial looks and reel moments not a look that suits Alia.
Agree, I didnt like this look much at all. and the donkey colored outfit with fit issues does nothing for Alia except look boring.
HHC, I think on anyone else you would have called out this look and dress as being washed out. I think if anything there is a bias towards Alia and whatever she wears. This look seems more appropriate for a day time event than an evening glam event. The forced smile, the pooling at the legs and the dull washed out color is a 0/10 for me. Rhea copied the runway look and did not put any thought into it, imo.
She is looking ethereal however I’d like to see her experiment with bohemian outfits
Everything about this look comes together so well.
I wish Alia had worn the shrug, it would have really added the glam. Plus the fit at the bust is all wrong – watched a video and it wasn’t sitting on her body at all.
Fugly dress, especially looks an ill-fitting mess around the bodice
I love her here – she looks more like herself in this look. I feel like we’ve seen such incoherent looks from her that this, to me, just hits home (even if it’s not ingenious or anything) because I can see HER vs the outfit.
It is not a great gown. The bodice is not the best and the pink furry thing helps to hide this but not entirely. So maybe Alia should have added the shrug.
Alia had a fresh, unique charm. It shone through no matter what she wore. Eventually they all become a homogeneous upper class/elite sort styled in similar ways with little by way of personality. And that is what Alia is becoming.
The nude makeup fetish has reached a point where her upper lips have simply vanished. No contour, no angles nothing, just a flat pointless collection of features
