At the NMACC opening night event, Aishwarya was seen in a Manish Malhotra velvet voluminous sharara. I actually don’t mind the sharara and if that dupatta had been worn a bit more neatly around the arms instead of wrapped over the body, this look wouldn’t have felt like she was drowning in it. And of course, if that necklace had been swapped with a round version to match the neckline of the kurta.
P.S. The NMACC opening event was ‘The Great Indian Musical: Civilization to Nation’ and the costume design was done by Manish Malhotra.

The dupatta is gorgeous but once again its the “same old same old”
Her hair and make up while very pretty is nothing new. I wish someone would just grab her and tell her to wear a beautiful saree
This same old is better than the outrageous stuff tothe rest wore to this event in the name of fashion !

This could have been styled so so well. So much volume and so many layers of makeup.
The hair in a sleek ponytail, skip the jewelry, soft makeup with a matte nude lip.
Dupatta draped well or on her arms.
She would have looked so good. As is, it falls flat.
I actually like this outfit. I agree that this could have been styled better. I don’t know why she doesn’t experiment with her hair that hides her gorgeous face.

Why can’t people wear what makes them look great. Aiswarya Rai is regal and beautiful and a South Indian. She looks like a goddess in a silk sari. Why not wear more of what makes one look great? ?
Agree that dupatta covered the sharara part. But wavy hair is a change , pl post her pics from PS-2 trailer launch as well pl.

She looked nice. Her choice of outfit styling hairdo is the same as it has always been but here she looked good in comparison to her previous outings!
I tried to make sense of Vidya and Priyanka’s outfits because while not great choices, they did try to bring something different. They are not jaded. But Ash, I can’t be bothered to look at the picture for more than a few seconds because it’s so boring. Why can’t she experiment a little bit ?

Lackluster, dull and boring, as always. With a face like hers, and access to all kinds of teams nationally and internationally, she could make each and every single appearance of hers outstanding.
