In Sureena Chowdhri

Aditi wore a burgundy Sureena Chowdhri sharara to the Khan-Shikhare wedding reception paired with gold drop earrings. I didn’t like the sharara itself especially the design pattern on the bottom and even with its gold work, the sharara felt very dull to me. Did you like the sharara?

  1. I think she looks lovely!! Just glamorous and understated enough for someone else’s wedding.
Mostly importantly it’s not a ‘hi, meet my cleavage’ kinda look.

  2. I like it.
But i can see why you find it dull.
There are a lot of styling issues here.
Firstly, those coloured contacts. It diluting down the darkness of the outfit.
And the gold accessories are of the same colour as the gold embs of the outfit.
Also, the make up is one toned.
It would have made a fab piece for a day time event with natural lighting.
But for the night, it needed sharper styling and makeup.

  3. The earring and necklace is not rt for this dress. The dupatta needed to be draped better to make this look polished.
And I didn’t like the hair as well.
A single braid would have tied this look together.
Right now it is looking too casual.

  4. I think she looks fab!
It’s a great look for someone else’s wedding reception.
What could have been better is the makeup- it looks dull and too one-toned. Better makeup would have made this a ‘wow’ look.

  5. I think the embroidery on a different color like green or red would look amazing. The brown is too muted but I like that’s its different. Def more make up with defined kohl eyes & a brown tone lipstick would have helped .

  6. I think this outfit plays up her clavicle which I think is stunning. The earrings highlight the length of her neck and draw your eyes to her collarbone. I like that this is a sharara with a short blouse, but the way the dupatta is draped, prevents it from looking vulgar, more interesting in my humble opinion. I also like the jewelry – very old school – the jhumkas, polkis, kundans and precious stones have been done to death.
