In Doodlage

At the unveiling of the trailer of Judwaa 2, Taapsee was seen in a fresh off the runway Doodlage patchwork bralet and wrap skirt but unlike the runway, she wore the two over a white tee and shorts.

Between the socks with the sandals and the variation, you’d think the look would feel haphazard but she made it work. I would’ve picked a tee with a higher neckline though.

In Self Portrait

Wearing a Self Portrait dress, Prachi attended the trailer unveiling of her movie Carbon. Hair in an updo, her look was finished out with jewellery from Outhouse.

Between the nails and the jewellery, the look could’ve felt a bit match-ey but it didn’t. I liked the subtle play on the colors. She looked good.

In Ridhi Mehra

Wearing an olive tassled jumpsuit by Ridhi Mehra, Tisca sat front row at the designer’s showing. Her accessories of choice included earrings from Belsis and pair of Jimmy Choo sandals.

Ms. Chopra wears the jumpsuit well. That said, I’d have loved to see her do DeBo… Wearing her hair partly back, skipping the gold-tone jewelry for silver and adding a stack of cuffs to one wrist would’ve turned this in to a whole other look, one that I suspect would’ve worked really well for her.

In Manish Malhotra

At Manish Malhotra’s show, Richa was photographed in a sari by the designer. Skipping jewelry, she rounded out her look with side-swept hair and a box clutch. Ms. Chadha looked lovely!

In Manish Malhotra

Wearing an embellished Manish Malhotra dress, Dia sat front row at the designer’s show. Big hair and metallic ankle-strap sandals rounded out her look.

Both the choice of dress and its styling made for an interesting change of pace. That said, am not sold on the look. But Dia by virtue of being Dia, fared better than most others would have in it; she almost made it work.
