In Bob Mackie

In a complete 180 from the MoMa appearance, Padma went a cheery summery route at the FIFI Awards in a vintage Bob Mackie maxi. What put this appearance over the top though were the soft curls and the addition of the flower in the hair. It made the look so feminine and romantic.

We adore!

More Of The Same

Having seen Katrina wear a red Leger with the same shoes, don’t blame us for not quite getting excited over this appearance of Kats in another fitted red dress.

In DvF

We don’t know what the rest of the outfit looks like but knowing Karisma, she probably wore her DvF top well. Check back later for better pics.

Doing Floral

At a store launch, Ms. Fernandez paired a floral dress with a tan Gucci clutch and pink Jimmy Choo platform sandals. Except for the shoes, we liked the look. You?

After Hours

Almost every International fashion house in the recent times has released a short film and while we haven’t seen the like from our own designers yet, stylist Pernia Qureshi released her very own short film very recently, touted to be India’s first. (While that in itself warrants a watch, it was also fun trying to spot clothes, accessories et al. Just can’t get past the beautiful sheer Anamika Khanna that’s begging to be brought into the fold of my closet! :p)

An interesting film… But, the music was bit of a kill-joy; so jarring for the mood of the video. Also, could’ve done without that dancing bit.

Tell us what you think!

P.S: See the making of the video here.
