Deepal In Chanel?

Without the neck bow, we might have liked this dress on Deepal. With the tie, it just seems like she is waiting to be unwrapped!

You like?

Update: The more I look at the pics especially the waist, the more I think this may not be a Chanel. What do you think?

Shilpa In Hervé Léger

Who better to don the ‘clings to your skin’ (I made that up) brand than our very own leggy lass. But, somehow I have to admit that I am not impressed with this. I love peeptoe ankle booties but somehow this look ain’t gelling for me.

Also, I am not sure if she was going for color coordination (with the teams colors) and that’s why wore this blue dress to this do, but it all sort of falls flat with all that darkness. Perhaps, a different event and this dress may have shone on her.

Update: Swapped Pics.

On An Aside: Cosmopolitan India Feb 2009

The February edition of Cosmopolitan India has Asin gracing the cover in a white Swapnil Shinde. (Boy, aren’t we glad that it wasn’t one of the many Swapnil creations seen already on Amrita!)

Asin also features in the snake print Gayatri Khanna gown seen already on Mugdha at the Lion Awards. (See here) Check out the February issue online here.

Bag Spotting

Spotted on designer Nandita Mahtani, the Choo Saba large hobo in snakeskin that costs a whopping $3,795.00 for the large and $3395 for the medium.

Don’t get me wrong but I love when snakeskin is done right but this pattern has nothing exotic about it and is more towards the boring side. I’ll take Neelam’s simple Chanel tote over this any day! You?
