She looks nice but comes off too show-offy.
I mean, its just an airport sighting for fashion sake. Why prada and burbery it, it would be nice to see her do the casual route more often especially on such no need for frill outings

Some people enjoy dressing up. It is not to show off nor to garner attention. Some like dressing up once in a while. Then there are those who couldn’t be bothered.

Why not? Why should it always be some boring, casual thing… Itz Ok to dress up, if it feels like! Don’t ya think :)

Yowza! She looks delish even though a little like ‘yeah yeah I know I look amazing’ vibe. But seriously if she and Imran are travelling together, the style q of the flight just went up. Reminds me of the song…”it’ getting hot in here ” :P

So gimmicky! Trying too hard. Not effortless. Looks wannabe/fake.

+1 Movie star??? At first glance I thought she was coming out of sauna with a towel on her and her hair tied up.

      1. Amu at | | Reply

Cause you look this goood when you step out of a sauna? She’s a movie star and got a film to promote and she know every single of her appearances matter!

        1. Sapphire at | | Reply

This good??? I look better than her.

        2. Sapphire at | | Reply

Not a movie star, she looks like a joke here trying too hard.

        3. Sapphire at | | Reply

It has become a joke now.

OMG! so much hate, are you jealous Sonam??

            OMG! Haha…

agreed. The crown slips faster when the head is held too high. You can enjoy success and flaunt all your achievements with humility as well :)

Wow so much hate for an actor dressing up.. this is actually not even dressed up, just owning /enjoying what she’s wearing…
and how does dressing have anything to do with humility…
So maybe all successful actors should just start wearing sarees and keep their eyes low to look humble.

she works that dress beautifully. the shoes and bag should have been of similar colors though.. is she trying to channel 50s hollywood with that hair and shades- thats working too!

love her ! and off course , she dressed up . SO WHAT ? she is a film star and if she feels like she should , then why not ! No body is photographing us when we get out of airports . I will be doing the same if i were her!

+1! I too would dress up to the nines if I were a movie star like her. And it’s a public place like an airport, where she knows for sure that she would be clicked and not like she’s coming out from the bathroom in her own house. Why, we as averages joes, make sure that we dress up nice if we know that we will be clicked in case the photo pops up in Facebook

I wouldn’t care if she wasn’t a film star, just love the confidence she’s wearing more than anything else.
And why make a show of dressing comfy like everyone else if you don’t care and really wanna dress up? :)

It seems this girl is enjoying her moment. She knows that she has arrived finally, its her time and she worked hard for it for long. Its getting reflected in her style and body language. Let her be.

Oh please, her “fierce” expressions are funny . She is trying way too hard

    1. Avani at | | Reply

Ditto. It is not about the clothes. She sure can show off and in fact being a star she need to but THAT expression she has on and the pouts is always comical. Same with that other lady Ms Mohapatra. Both try too hard to look fierce.

    I’m starstruck! :D

Why shouldn’t she enjoy her life… She has worked hard to be where she is and deserves every bit of it! Duniya jale toh jale :P

Funny how perceptions are. To me, she comes across as a star. Yes, there’s no humility there and she’s definitely not relatable or personable which some people prefer but let’s face it she looks effortlessly chic and definitely has the X factor!

She’s a movie star and happens to be the toast of the town at this time in her career. It’s fine to see stars casual but I don’t think there’s anything ‘show-offy’ or ‘gimmicky’ in looking glamorous. She looks amazing.

    1. S.I. at | | Reply

Her expressions and body language scream show-offy and gimmicky.

  11. Kashmira at | | Reply

She looks good..but her fierce expressions always look funny to me.

she’s worked hard to get where she is now, so i’m all for her enjoying it.

and one cannot really judge a person’s humility or lack thereof, from the way they walk or hold their head! a hunched-over stance with a simpering smile does not signify humility.

She looks amazing. It’s a simple look, yet so elegant and powerful. And why should she pretend to be humble or arrogant or anything? She’s talented, hardworking and an achiever, and if she wants to wear a damn wedding lehenga to the airport, so be it.
