both the waistcoats are by intermix! i have the same one!

Well, Kim is wearing Target’s Go International Bandleader vest. Since Intermix is a retailer, it is possible they scooped up the brand too to sell.

      1. apurva at | | Reply

        Intermix would NEVER sell target!

        1. Payal(HHC) at | | Reply

Intermix is a retailer. They sell different brands. It is likely that they also scooped up the Go International vest like Target did. Anyhoo, we did say it looks a lot like the Go International one.

          1. apurva at |

EXACTLY my point, the vest is not TARGET’S as stated in your first comment. and the exact same one i have, has a pink and black label saying intermix! i am trying pretty hard to convince you here! HAHA!

          2. ramizi at |

Uhm seriously? Intermix does not sell Target!!! It’s a high–very high end retailer. Just because it’s a retailer doesnt mean they re-sell whats sold at Target…that would be eBay! Get your facts right.

          3. HHC Fan at |

This vest is also available in Forever 21. Isn’t it possible Intermix picked up maybe the same vest? And Target Go International Brand is not that low end. I saw Zac Posen and Jean Paul Gaultier design for that brand (just with cheaper materials). And even if it is Target….I think it’s pretty cool! I love Target :)

I like Kim better. Stylish, except for her torn jeans
Sonam’s white tshirt looks like a baniyan my pop wears at home!
and those wrinkled pants – NoT Ok!

      i agree

Agreed! Kim looks gorgeous! Just wish her jeans were low cut. Sonam looks bland! LOVE LOVE LOVE the Bandleader vest!

Looking at that feels like the 80’s fashion coming back at us again ..

  7. hhc-addict at | | Reply

its chic – but i always feel that she lacks in the shoe department.

I like kim,Her pairing it with black sleeveless (perhaps sequined) tank looks better with off-white jeans. And in terms of hair style +makeup she looks better.I dont mind distressed -pattern on kim type body and looks.

    really really like…

Love her hair and makeup here. She always looks so cheerful and freshly happy, and that brings an element of charm to her look no matter what she wears. Blue skinny jeans and white tank would also have looked nice with the vest.

the same vest was worn by maria in the Celebrity Apprentice finale yesterday.Guess its very popular.

Sonam looks WANNABE. Copycat of western star styles consistently makes her come across as she has an Anglo complex.

    1. shereen at | | Reply

i agree. she’s trying too hard to be a fashionista. she should wear her outfits lightly like someone like shruti hassan.

      1. Chocolate Martini at | | Reply

Wow, this is just baseless hating. How is this copying?? She just wears a vest that Kim happens to have worn (AND styles it differently) and suddenly she’s a wannabe-trying-too-hard-copycat???

I actually like Sonam but I have noticed the same thing. Like the SJP lace dress/blazer/long necklaces look. That looked pretty much identical.

  13. SMV at | | Reply

Sonam definitely looks better than Kim

  14. pdaervo at | | Reply

She looks cute… but Sonam (stylish as she may be) always seems to lack the something that could elevate her style to the next level. I think that’s why a lot of people say she looks like she’s trying too hard, she just hasn’t broken that barrier yet. Something always looks off :/
    I don’t mean that as an insult to Sonam, I don’t think she’s lacking something as a person. It’s just… style-wise.

      Bang on!
For the fact that she is hailed as a fashionista she lacks originality specially when it comes to being street chic or casual.
In spite of those ugly jeans I prefer Kim here…she has that punch! Sonam looks boring! Love the jacket though!

Reminds me a lot of an alice olivia jacket.

Sonam looks better, love the hair. I actually like the t-shirt. I am glad I cannot see the heels on her shoes, hope she is wearing flats.

She is a fashionista, but I cant see the spark in her as an actress …looks very plain in her expressions, whatever we have got to see in I hate love story….

In Aisha it is full of of fashion show I guess,Rhea kapoor has told in Bazaar intw till yet no indian film has used those international brands than in Aisha….

When people want to see realistic movies ,will such things workout here?aaaaah

    1. Tina at | | Reply

Aisha is about Delhi high society people….it is as real as middle class or lower class jeans and tee people. These high society people dress in intl brands and act snobbish and alll that….and that’s what they are going to show. Realistic I think it is. Just saying.

      1. Chocolate Martini at | | Reply

Err…there are a LOT of non-realistic bollywood movies that have worked out. A LOT.

Also, wearing designer labels doesnt mean you’re acting snobbish, seriously.

        1. Tina at | | Reply

I didn’t mean wearing labels make you snobbish. I think some of the people in such high societies do act snobbish with their labels…and they will show that which is quite realistic. So saying that the movie is not realistic is not correct. And of course movies don’t have to be realistic to work….as you said….bollywood movies mostly are OTT and non realistic.

          1. Tina at |

Also j because people wear international brands in a movie also does not make a movie unrealistic. It depends on the context.

          2. shyba at |

May be it will work for Multiplex audience, not the masses…

          3. Chocolate Martini at |

Im not saying that AIsha will be unrealistic, I was replying to Shyba who said that the adience want realistic movies :-)

Also Shyba, Kambakht Ishq was a huge hit with the masses and it had Kareena completely in intl designer wear. A lot of Bwood movies do now, its nothing new

I seriosly do not find anything great about this look or jacket. And those shades are lookin so funny on Sonam .

  20. Anu C at | | Reply

No one does casual quite lilke Sonam does. She falters in her red carpet looks and comes across as trying too hard, but her casual and street style is always spot on!

  21. apurva at | | Reply

Oh! a friend of a friend knows Pernia Quereshi, who apparently is her(sonam’s) stylist in the movie Aisha as well as on a daily basis. The girl has an amazing sense of style. I do feel sonam’s taste is a little lacking in the shoe department. I mean who wears black closed pumps in this heat, even if they were peep-toes it would probably work .

  22. Green Mint at | | Reply

nt liking shades on Sonam and this causal look is not so gr8 as we have been seeing on her frm quite a long time…
