The Long And Short Of It
February 4th, 2013 at 11:24 am . by PriyankaAt an event held by Sotheby’s to celebrate Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla’s India Fantastique, Shweta wore an intricately embellished dress by the designer duo. Tousled hair, red lips and black pumps finished out her look.
You may recall her wearing a heavily embellished gold Abu Sandeep for her father’s birthday celebrations where she looked pretty darn good. This time around however, she wasn’t quite able to recreate the same effect. The dress just didn’t work on her. Hair and make-up only added to her woes.
With Grammys around the corner, I can’t help but think how perfect this dress would be for stage.

oh hell, this looks like she’s wearing all the family gold at once. the only place for that dress is on the stage.

Wow! Nothing is working for her. Bad, bad eye make-up, stockings that don’t match her skin tone and pumps!!! But talking of times when she looked amazing, I think Kareena’s sangeet she was wearing a beautiful saree but never did see a full length photo of that.

Awful from head to toe! Bad makeup,the tights,hideous shoe choice. Wish she’d stop dressing like a ramp model- cant carry it. The dress is very ugly.
Yikes! This dress is made for a stage performance. Hoisery is mismatched as well. The first pic is kind of scary too…way too much make-up.
OMG , this looks anything but pleasing or nice in any remote way.
I’m pretty sure that the model on the cover of India Fantastique wore the same dress as Shweta .

Hideous is an understatement.
I suspect this is what Abu Sandeep are always aiming for-blingtastic. I actually liked Sweta for carrying her off beat looks with such elan and giving sis in law a run for her money. But this is just sad!

this looks like something out of the amar chitra katha comics. ye olde time warriors would wear chest plates like the one of her dress. yuck.
