somehow she looks shorter than she is.. something is off with the fit around the bust..
    lovely color on her though.

The dress makes her look squat, and the fit around her bust is terrible – looks like the bodice is sliding downward.

Not a big follower of South Indian films or actors but I am struck by the sheer number of North Indian actresses in the industry. Adah, Rakul, Tamannah, Taapsee, Sonal, Vishakha etc etc. Where are South Indian actresses moving to? the Bengali film industry?

Gasp !! Ya, you are right !! They are moving !! This has to stop..
Hema malini, VyjayantiMala, Rekha, Sridevi, Aishwarya, Vidya Balan, Deepika etc etc
Wish they all stayed back here & in exchange you take back Tamannah..

        Love the sarcastic undertone. ;)

Funny! You mention actresses over a 50 year period, not contemporaries attending the same awards show.

The BEST like Sridevi, Hemamalini, Rekha all went off to Bollywood long long ago leaving only these ones to us. :P Both Tamil & Telugu movies have North Indian ladies in most of the movies. Tamil movies have always had a lot of heroines from North & other South Indian states too ..Asin, Nayanthara,Samantha Prabu, Amala Paul, Parvathy Menon, Lakshmi Menon, Sridivya to name a few. You will hardly find a Tamil lady featured in a Tamil movie (exceptions being only Shruti & Trisha). :P

Not to mention Khushboo, Simran, Jyotika etc.

The 2 very beautiful heroines from Hyderabad, Dia Mirza and Aditi Hydari are completely settled in Bollywood. They never ever acted even in one Telugu movie. If you can give them back to Telugu movie industry, we can happily exchange Kajal, Tamannaah, Shriya, Hansika, Rakul, Taapsee, Sonal, Vishakha and many more back to North. :)

What is this – ‘you take, we exchange’ nonsense? Making an observation elicits such parochial responses.

As always she looks cheap and trashy.

Shruti is looking beautiful in this gown !!

She looks good. The purple looks good on her. She is tall & has a great figure but the gown is making her look kind of short & stumpy. :O

Why do I wish this gown was saved for Priyanka Chopra. How stunning would she have looked in this shade of purple with a rich lip?
