Um everything. From that sack of a dress, to the slung across bag that bisects her torso, to the nerdy ankle socks, to the mushroom colored Mary Janes. Oh and how could I forget the random headband that looks like she stuck a Wal-Mart price sticker to her forehead. Loathe it.

haha..so many people so used to seeing ‘glam chic urban hippy’ dressing, that a dress without a belt and socks worn with heels fall into ‘avant-garde’ category.
So Shilpa, in order to please the people here, pls dig out your chandelier earrings, do some smoky eyes, slather on glittery lip gloss and pose with your chest stuck out :)

I dnt get the socks-they’re neither necessary nor fashionable.
The dress has a horrible fitting and looks like a sack.

To all who think we’ve been smoking something, wish we were, but alas we love our health too much.
As much as we love our polished looks, we also love ourselves some fun fashion. Shilpa’s look may not be your everyday every person look but we think it is a fun one. And Shilpa is one such person who loves doing offbeat looks.
Our only crime here possibly is that we didn’t ease you into this look by featuring her more but we definitely are now going to feature more such posts.
Socks with sandals aren’t something new. Alexa Chung and Rihanna have been sporting them a lot as did lots of runways for the Spring 2010 collection.
You are gonna feature her more? Oh god! lol. It’s a given that all runway looks do not translate well into real life. Only very few can probably carry such looks(socks with sandals) and she definitely is not the one. It’s funny that except one commenter(& you ladies), the rest have given this a Wthey or an almost.:D
i have to admit i found the ‘what are you smoking’ comment a tad rude. even if it was meant in fun.
i dont know about being eased into a look. a lot of people who read this blog are into fashion. i guess its a simple difference in opinion. she isn’t looking fun so much as she’s looking sloppy.
WOW! This is how I look when I get off an 2/3 day sleeper class journey in the Indian Railways. LOL. Fun and chic of course.
