This has got to be some sort of joke.

On anyone else this could have tacky, but somehow her sweet demeanor makes this look bearable.

I agree…its like she is having fun with it! I would personally never wear something like this, though.

You guys are right, this a very polarizing look. I personally hate this outfit lol the choker makes it even more tacky.

Yup, I hate the tucking of the pallu inside her blouse.

Lol. That ‘pallu’ draped & falling from inside that distasteful blouse must be so uncomfortable and ticklish :P. What all in the name of fashion, seriously.

My eyes! My eyes!! What was she even thinking?? The only was to describe this is – “the award for the worst outfit of the day goes to… “

    Hate it!
Wearing the pallu on top of the bustier could have made it more bearable.

OF all the ways to wear a pallu…this is by far the worst! She looks ridiculous

Strange you had to ask even! This falls straight into the WTHeyyyyyyy category!! What was she thinking???
No Sir! You can’t do that to a sari. (and that too a pretty one)

No. The choker makes it worse.

Hope the lace on the saree is not ticklish :-D

    Experiment gone wrong.

The fit of that blouse is way off. But even if done properly, the saree lets it down – it’s too “sweet” for the blouse, which deserves something either crisper/preppy or edgy.

I am going to repeat a comment I made a couple of years ago on HHC. I feel like the bystander in the Emperor’s New Clothes who would just like to point out at some of the absurdity that passes off as high fashion these days. There is WTHEYY and then there is “please take this to the edge of the world and push”. Never to be seen again.

This look is beyond bizarre. Its like she picked up a random bustier because she could not find her blouse and thought she would try out some crazy looks in the mirror. Even conceptually, this is completely incoherent.

If she had worn the saree a couple of inches higher, this might have been tolerable. As it is, it looks horrifyingly tacky. That sweet face of hers is in total contrast to the tackfest going on below her neck.

Ameesha patel and shriya saran need to up their game now after rakul’s outing if they want to retain their ” tacky -single b**b always out in gaudy MM saree” award …. My heart goes out to them ….

The most “In” thing now a days, the lingerie fashion applied to a sari!! And how funny it has turned out :D

Did she lose a bet or something?! ROFL!!

I think she look gorgeous…what are you guys talking about. Nice, new and refreshing change from same ol traditional saree look. I think its high time we appreciate this as a welcoming change.

Vintage-inspired-lace-saree ruined. And how !! It could have been the classiest if done right.

Delicate blouse, pearls, a 50s vibe pose and this would have been a classic look.

I like the combination of the denim blouse and white lacy sari, interesting take on leather and lace. The blouse isnt anything to write home about so the drape highlighting the blouse seems odd but that choker needs to go, it looks like those black stretchy plastic chokers that were popular when I was younger.
