the fact that designers understand how ‘less can be more’ which eludes tailors and ’boutique owner aunties’ whose definition of a beautiful outfit generally is limited to blingy embroidery and tacky fabric.

But i guess “less can be more” does not mean “less means absolutely nothing”

Wow, what a great look on her, that colour and accessories are perfect. Would wear this in a flash.

As pretty as Neha looks, I don’t understand these “designer” saris that have nothing distinctive about them and can be bought for a far less ridiculous price at any sari store!

I hate this look. The sari or the way it is tied is making her look huge around her hips. Rare miss from Neha.

Agreed. I think this sari would make even a skinny girl like DP look huge. I like the statement necklace on her blouse though.

Aside from the make-up that makes her looks like she has a monstrous cold, she looks terrific.

Badly draped. The color is divine on her. Hair and make-up, accessories bang on though! Pity about the drape

It’s a sloppily draped sari. Also what is the designer element in I? It’s a plain red silk worn with a black halter neck blouse with detailing on the collar. Nice blouse, but nothing outstanding

    What is the color called?

Absolutely gorgeous! Love everything about this except for the fact that Neha seems to crumple the sari up in the latter photos.

She’s clearly been short changed by the designer – the sari is tiny! not enough material for proper pleats or pallu leading to a sloppy drape
