In Alexander McQueen
August 15th, 2010 at 6:34 pm . by PayalIt is not easy to pull off the crazy designs that come from the late designer Alexander McQueen‘s collections and I could totally see someone else go the safe route and pair this edgy dress with pumps but not Ms. Poonawala. She makes the look even more whimsical by adding YSL Starry sandals paired with a white clutch and comes off looking great. Love it! (Love love love it!)

Love the sandals but liking the hair on the model even more :) The dress though looks fine.. a bit like Manish Arora at the hips and the print.

I would not have expected that the shoes would be worth more than 10$ if not for the bran value. Looks like someone stuck left over Christmas deco on normal strappy black sandals.
But must say she looks good overall. I think the tied up hair made a big diff on completing her edgy look.
But on the runway, the background is just too clashing with the colours of the dress. That plus the models hair are more attention grabbing than the dress.
Those sandals are totally lustworthy.

Perfect and may I add that I am sooo.. thrilled that she tied her hair up(most Indians stick to the same open ,long hair style) and her make up and shoes r perfect, I am gonna watch her carefully

I din’t know who she was until HHC started covering her. And must say everytime I look forward to her pics. She wears some amazing stuff and I think she is the queen of great combos. I mean, anyone woulda gone with a safe black pumps with that dress….but not her! She pulls it of each time…whew! Love this whole look including the shoes!!. Her hair is mostly done the way it is here….but hey, it works! Yeaa…totally works!
