Giant flower prints are not my thing. A couple of these could work as separates but otherwise its a whole lot of ugly. The best thing here is shilpa shetty, she makes that outfit work.
Also, why do designers put those ugly gold borders/hems everywhere, I’ve seen manish malhotra do this too. It always looks really cheap.
Masaba had very wearable pieces in her collections when she first debuted, but looks like she ran out of ideas. This collection is pathetic and downright ugly. I can’t see any A-lister wearing any of these clothes.
I’ll preface this by saying that I appreciate the major amount of hard work that goes into preparing a collection for a show, and that Masaba is definitely talented. That said, this entire collection looks overworked. She needed Tim Gunn telling her to pare it back a little (and a heck of a lot, for some of those outfits).
I am very sorry to say that the collection is very very ugly! Can’t enjoy any of the garment visually…
I believe its only the PR and the unnecessary HYPE that’s working for her but NOTHING else!! Can’t get over the grotesque collection!!
seriously what’s there to like.. i am little aghast.. can’t think of single garment that caught my eye.. and bell bottoms.. no ways.. please lets keep them in 80’s..
Shilpa’s outfit, the saree inspired drapes, the outfits that have cutouts near the waist and the zari border give a major Nikhil Thampi flashback. Not liking this collection one bit!!!
The clothes have no structure, and the prints are an eyesore….Sad !!…If they are not doing anything for these stunning models, how can we mortals carry them !!
I doubt that Sonam could do justice to this collection of Masaba given her track record of wearing too many accessories and clashing prints/ elements together at times with little success. However I can trust Neha Dupia or may be Kangana ? to wear any single piece with ease (and success of coarse)
Seriously?! She can’t get away with such a disastrous and disappointing collection! What’s with the print and oh my that styling?! My eyes!!! It’s sad to see that no matter what, people will buy this since its a “Masaba.” This is not retro fashion. This is not mixing and matching. This is simply wrong!!!
Wonder why Indian designers throw so much of traditionalism into their designs. I hardly come across anything smart and chic, which actually represent contemporary Indian women. I mean who wears such huge prints, chunky jewellary and that kind of hairstyle to a summit. Everyone are not celebrities about to walk the ramp
ha ha… emperor’s new clothes? my faith in common sense is restored after seeing the comments above. Hype can do only so much; this proves it. Glamourous selfies do not a good designer make.

The only good thing in this entire collection is having Shilpa Shetty on the ramp. She even works that weird outfit.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Masaba’s amateurish days are definitely over!
really? It is just tacky
Haha, I wonder who’ll wear a piece from this collection, the prints are so big and overwhelming that they look jarring to the eyes.

Sheila is killing it. In an awesome way. That part nothing is working
I meant Shilpa…
oh no. no no no no.
all kinds of fugly.
Forget the over large ugly 70s prints. Way to make the Mallu gold border look so cheap and tacky!
Why is she a designer? And why do we have to see this?!
Embarrassing beyond any limit….
I was trying to find an wearable dress…..maybe the long-sleeved tunic dress…maybe not….I failed.

embarrassed for masaba. what was she thinking?
This collection is the worst Ive seen from her. I just don’t get it. Whatever the inspiration is the outcome was definitely underwhelming.

Definitely not impressive this time.
Ouch my eyes hurt!
Few of these pieces sonam can use in her Khoobsurat looks 😛
