Sari Style

We think Kiran looked rather sweet at a recent event! Love that sari; so refreshing after a slew of “designer” ones.

Like the blouse with the sari, makes it more contemporary. Also like the silver bangle (by Amrapali). What we weren’t quite on board with… The choice of that particular necklace (also Amrapali). Seems off.

Now, can you look past the casual drape? We sure as hell can.

Oh come on, casual drapes are charming. It shouldn’t even be a question. She looks lovely .

Nice saree…I have something very similar – they are called Maharani loom ( just in case someone asks if it’s Raw Mango…teehee)

Right off the bat the color makes her look dried out! The shape is good on her but the color is a miss.

  4. Lola says:

She looks really nice; she is always ladylike.

Nothing wrong with a casual drape. There is a difference between casual and sloppy. Yes, she should have skipped the necklace.

  6. monika says:

    why the forced smile?

  7. azul says:

Agree, nothing wrong with the casual drape. She looks lovely. Also like the fact that she is teaming the saree with a simple blouse- none of the over the top and revealing nonsense :-)

Hey Priyanka – how did you know the bangle’s by Amrapali? I have a similar one and that’s not from Amrapali so just curious how you ID’d the item?
The sari’s okay but Kiran’s glasses always throw me off – the shape and the size just don’t suit her face. I know it’s hardly an accessory but ever time she’s featured that’s the first thing I notice.

  9. npm says:

She looks absolutely fresh and lovely. The drape is neat and tidy and appropriate.

the casual drape only adds to the elegance….proves one does not have to try hard every time.

Lovely saree and love the blouse it’s paired with, yet something about the look reminds me of a little girl playing dress up in her mom’s saree.

  12. bong babe says:

    thats a dhakai jamdani sari.

  13. Meria says:

i think the necklace kinda make it look even more unique..love the look..plus the drape
