Ila Arun sure loves this outfit… question is, do we like it as much as she obviously does? ;)

Am sorry you guys hate it, I would totally wear this one for dressy desi things..although I would acceorize way differently..

  2. nalini says:

i like the color combination and that’s about it

  3. Fashionluvver says:

I like outfits worn by people who dress as per their comfort level and personality. I won’t wear it, but it works on Ila!

That is so true. Comfort should always come first and what is appropriate for the event.

No sense wearing stylish clothes that are uncomfortable.

  4. jujunye says:

i bet it will be there in 2010 too lollllzzz haha

  5. Amy says:

Ha ha! She also wears the same earrings everytime :)

  6. diptiN says:

Not bad, much better than the anarkali. Would have preferred it without the excessive silver work from the collar to the front of the dress. The silver work on the sleeve is sufficient.

  7. Prem Rogue says:

Large amounts of velvet rarely look good. Hate it.

  8. SK says:

she has even repeated the shoes and earrings…!!!
the colour combo is great but not a huge fan of velvet. reminds me of old rajai!!!

  9. NFashionB says:

I love the color combination of this churidar .
    Beige and burgundy/plum .Wow :-)
Though that tower bindi doesnt suit her well..In reality it might be good …that why she always wear it.

  10. Sumi says:

I like the way it looks on the far left. The dupatta’s not draped that well in the last three. :-/

  11. aishwarya says:

this is definately a disaster an she wore it 4 tyms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  12. momofrs says:

I can almost imagine her hanging up the suit along with the shoes, bag and ear-ring in a designated slot. So everytime she picks the dress, she picks the same accessories .
    Not a bad idea ;-)

  13. Mayuri says:

…and this is how horrendous accessories and bad make-up kill a lovely outfit…

  14. m says:

she’s an older person so probably one should just let it go if she wears unfashionable stuff

  15. Sb0502 says:

    No posts today.. :(

  16. Enne says:

I liked it once, and couldn’t like it again. But we all have our ‘go to’ outfits don’t we? Sadly, this super loud/busy one is hers…

  17. lurverlurver says:

this looks too heavy…all the velvet is choking me…

  18. Shweta says:

well I guess it doesn’t look that bad…had it been a plain burgundy suit with a little work on sleeves and neck rather than all over it would have looked cool :) plus a good pair of high heel sandals would have won hands down!!
Love her massive forehead…what a trademark…no wonder that tower bindi suits her to the T :) not everyone can carry that esp. ones with narrow foreheads!!

  19. will-kill-for-exclusivity says:

she has got such big eyes

why does she have to make them look popped out with those XXL sized bindis

Ila ji plz use a small bindee

    dont scare the kids
