In Gauri and Nainika
October 13th, 2009 at 11:12 am . by PayalGenelia walked for jewellery designer Farah Khan at the HDIL Couture Week wearing a Gauri and Nainika bustier dress with a train, a look that reminded us of her Neeta Lulla outfit from the South Filmfare awards (See here). The only thing I like about this look are those sandals and that isn’t saying much. Why wear such an overwhelming dress when the spotlight should be the jewellery? I can’t even focus on it because I am distracted by the yards and yards of fabric.

i don’t see anything wrong with the black nailpolish. i think it looks edgy and different than the normal reds you see?
why not experiment with color than be stuck in the same rut…

My sense of style is goth so it just looks so wierd to me.
The face looks gorgeous…the outfit…? not so much..
The shoes look like Rock and Republic “Athena” Bootie…

What is it with G&N BTW .. it looks like they watch the whole of PAris Fashion week and then sit and modify the designs they liked to bring up their own collection..
And in a matter of days the whole of Bollywood brigade is wearing their designs.. are they so ignorant that they cannot spot a Balmain/D&G/Giambatista Valli/Versace influence in their clothes??

Oh god. This is awful!! The dress makes her look way bigger than she is.. and the hair looks too paegant-y. Shame.
….and i thought Bipasha’s G&N dress was awful! This is one ugly collection from G&N and yet all the celebs seems to be flocking to wear something from it – a case of emperor’s clothes? ;)
Maybe they chose this dress because it’s SOO ugly that people would want to look at anything other than the dress –> enter jewellery
