I love her fringe and it suits her; other than that, the bust area looks heavy in all the pictures. She should avoid strapless and thin strap tops, it emphasises her bust and arms. Those shoes should be banned from manufacturing.
Yeah, doesn’t need to wear designer clothes to look good; invest in some good quality black clothes which you can dress up and dress down. The rest, you can buy anywhere including Kmart and Target.

The only fashion tip we can give her is – Please look in a full length mirror before you leave the house, Divya. Pretty please? Thank You

Side boob over spillage in almost every shot – the thing is all this lady needs is some good foundation garments – read as: a supportive /well fitting bra and a top or dress that flatters such awesome proportions. Maybe a wrap dress- traditionally very flattering to big boobs – some elegant courts- the higher the heel the better – to give those legs some length.

divya loves to bare…but the bad news is that she really needs to work out to carry off those dresses….she looks beautiful in indian clothes….but then who is going to tell her that ….

she is trying too hard… i wish she reads this post and the comments. but then again if she was reading HHF she wouldnt be dressing like that.

    meh, don’t like her….

no no nooo!!! Armpit cleavage overload! She really needs to invest in a nice supportive strapless bra, or wear tops with thick straps instead of thin straps that make her look very top heavy.

and those shoese are absolutely ugggly

Looking at the pink dress I somehow get the feeling that those straps are actually her bra straps and not part of the dress at all.

I’m all for accentuating your assets, and minimizing your flaws. Sadly, Divya does the exact opposite. She is very pretty, with a body that is a bit difficult to dress. I would suggest dresses with some type of sleeve, and saris with real blouses (which look much more elegant than bikini blouses, in my opinion). I would love to see her in more salwar-kameez outfits; she’s Punjabi after all, and looks stunning in them!

Why couldn’t she try a wrap or sheath dress, just something modest once in a while! She is obsessed with straps/strap-less stuff which looks terrible. Hopefully she improves:)

    I am embarrsed for her!!

i would DIE if i dressed like this. extension of the bust area comin out of her armpits..i mean, how can one not realise, Shocks me!!!

Lady , invest in a bra before you buy another piece of clothing…it could do wonders to the rest of the stuff in your closet

omg omg…notice how you can ACTUALLY see her bra through that fugly pink dress….one word:ugh

Its actually painful to see these pictures. Doesn’t she have any true friends who can tell her NOT to dress up like this?

i agree re the foundation garments. the only one of these that is passable is the black dress (but it’s all relative). it’s not uncommon for indian women who ae well-endowed to think that tight-fitting tops are a great way to show off their assets – hate that! i wish she would change it up a bit – some cowl necks, v-necks, a (loose-fitting) halter. india has so many reality shows now – i think it’s high time they create one to make over certain celebrities – divya would be on that list, but she wouldn’t be the only one…

@ak – May i suggest Tulip Joshi as another contender for your proposed make-over show? Why are all Divya’s dresses that unflattering just-below-the-knee length. It makes short people look so dowdy!

Oooh, she needs a mirror indeed! I hope somenody tips her off about this site and she comes and reads the comments… It might be hurtful but there’s lots of good advice in here…!

Insitead of a ‘ What the hey’ section, you should simply have a section that says ‘ Divya D and Tulip J”.
Divya is such a superbly Talented woman- Delhi 6 anyone, Tulip has Matrubhumi…why why didnt they get a pinch of fahsion sense along with their talent?

  27. mj at | | Reply

Only if talent and style went hand in hand. agree with everyoen that says she needs good foundation garments…she is a prime candidate for an oprah show on undies and dressing for your body type….very pretty face stuck on an unstylish body :-(

I feel really sad for this lady…How can she repeat such fashion faux pass time and again?? she has no true friends who can give her some genuine advice.. Somebody needs to sit down with her to lecture her on age /body apprpriate/elegant dressing.. I would gladly do that.. I cannot see this woman repeating these mistakes even once more.

I hv noticed Divya time n again,or rather i shud say that she always catches my attention by her peculiar dressing sense.Weight loss is a must, and she shud seriosly refrain from cleavage showing dresses, wich I guess c’s really fond off,i mean in all her on screen n off screen apppearances c has to bare on the top…….though she’s preety but cleavage showing clothes luk really vulgar on healthy bodies.

  33. Amrita at | | Reply

Divya needs to take more care as c’s healthy and petite too.
