both of them look like sarong… I would wear(as a cover-up) it if it was cotton, and if it was shorter. looking at it now I have no Idea what should I consider this dess is
both uglyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy like geez people have no fashion sense but if i really have to choose..out of the two, i like the one on amrita..its kinda better put together.. but then again its an UGLYYYY dress
Hate both the dresses. They are selling these dresses here in the US malls for $20. Now I see where the Indian designers get their inspiration from:). And why is the second girl wearing chappals with the dress??? Yuck….
@Malini
They are many more Indian designers who make awesome stuff you wont see anywhere in world. No need to base your judgement by just seeing these two dresses here:D
Dear Malini, this is a one off, exactly as some fads come and go in the US….the Madonna inspired torn T shirts in the 80’s….this is a fad. Its dated, they came out early last year…and for some strange reason are still around..
i am not a big fan of obviously assymetric hemlines. there’s something very incomplete about them.
i like the print on bruna’s dress though.it would probably look god if u r standing languidly in the bay windowed balcony of ur villa in morocco 😀
I would have liked the fabric on the right without the strange empty white space.
Speaking of Indian designers, I didn’t see Samant Chauhan’s collection this year in the blog or did I miss it? He is one designer I liked from previous show, and his studying of garment from producing silk to dying it to manipulating the fabric was interesting.
Someone once told me, sometimes it does not matter if a certain dress or garment is past its 15 seconds of fame. If it looks good on you and want to wear it, go right ahead.
That’s how I feel about the dress on Bruna. I would totally wear it to a beach vacation AND with those chappals. Who cares if the look is supposedly passe.
The green one has better prints.

Why dont they make really pretty scarf dresses???
I actually like the one on Bruna… probably not with those shoes though.

nope
neither
Very ugly, cheap looking dresses. If its a neck-up competition, Amrita looks better.
IF YOU SEEK AMY!!

I hate both, but if I just HAD to pick one, I’d pick the one on Bruna.

I like Brunas confidence.. it makes the dress look better

AMRITA ARORA LOOKS LIKE A NIGHTMARE IN BLUE SATIN!

Scarf dresses are done. Why can’t we just file this bit of fashion into the archives already?
