Isn’t the december issue supposed to be all about glamour and partying.. this just doesn’t fit the bill…
also, I can’t understand the hype over this polka dots version of LV to me it looks quite ugly
This is a Vogue cover!? Terribly underwhelming…Kalki makes absolutely NO impact…
Seriously? Silk pajamas for the December issue of vogue? What a shame, considering that the December cover should be bursting with sophistication and allure…
I am loving the easy glamor of the cover and the on-trend pajamas. Kalki has so much personal style that it’s great to finally see her on a Vogue cover.
wow. that’s just sloppy.
Why is it so difficult for Vogues stylists to understand that they should tap on the inherent personality of the star to bring out a wow cover, not have it look like anybody could’ve done this. Kalki has an amazing charm and does quirky so well. What a waste.
subjective. i think she’s so bland firang-in-India who really wants to be mainstream but trying to do it from the fringe. also, i don’t want to see lazy-quirk on Vogue. maybe on Teen Vogue, sure.
Subjective again. I don’t think she’s bland at all and the appearance in sabyasachi recently proves that. Yes I don’t want to see lazy quirk either. And that is where Vogue should step in and take it up a notch. Or two. If you know what I mean.
i think the Sabya appearance was really a safe choice – he’s been done to death by so many more established Indian actresses. given that the pink dress was also worn on the same trip i really wonder – do these people have any authentic taste or POV of their own to Not say No to something like that? therefore she’s not a person of ‘fashion interest’ to me – seen her playing the same cards for 4 years & usually it’s following some stylist’s speak.
I’ve given up on Vogue India. This is the best they can do for the December cover which is supposed to stand for parties and glamour? Seriously Vogue! Kalki photographs so well but here she looks downright bored. & i completely hate the Kusama line but these pyjamas are simply ugly. I rather prefer the Bazaar India cover for December. Kangana looks gorgeous!
Not only is the cover under-whelming. But whoever came up with the captions. What the hell does “coolest thinkers” mean. Gahh soo tacky
yep. Indian copy & editorial lowers the bar worldwide on a consistent basis. that’s Bollywoodization of the world for you.
That little hint of skin just makes me sad, as does the hand-on-hip. Uninspired.
Reminds me of Grazia’s Monica Dogra cover..
oh please, what do you guys want.. typical party party covers.. seriously, it s so cool to see an on trend , quirky pyjama look.. time to dress differently!!
love it< finally a new feel, so fresh, fed up of party dresses for dec issues.
