Vizyon: LFW Summer/Resort 2010
Drapes, pleats and lots of layering came together to create a 3-D structural effect that dominated Vizyon’s collection. As far as the color palette was considered, it had a more serious cocktail-hour feel to it rather than a Resort one. The materials ranged from softer fabrics like chiffon, satin and eventually moving on to leather. Overall, the collection was way too overwhelming because of the many design aspects and we can’t see any mere mortal being able to pull off any of the dresses without looking clumsy.
FYI: Vizyon is a design house owned by Ayush and Shraddha Murarka that collaborates with international designers and this collection was designed by Ninon Palisse.

This collection looks anything but original
drapes and pleats could have been pulled off so well with the fabrics used [minus the leather though, i think], unfortunately this is too overwhelming and kinda on the tacky side :S
p.s can i just applaud u both for the LFW reporting, loved it 🙂
it’s so rami from project runway.. soo much draping. wish the shoes could have been better.
Dear Pri, Rami does a better job, his drapes are so beautiful and sensual. There’s nothing pretty here.
The dress on Lisa Haydon would be awesome if the draping was a lot more simple. But that’s about it
*simpler
eeekkk….
this reminds me of what nicholas ghesquire had done for balenciaga last season..or was it the season before..even the colours
this just looks like a case of overthinking the outfits…just too much going on..
these dresses look like sheets drapped around the models body… if they cant carry it off… who can?!!!
yards and yards of fabric wrapped around a womans body – only a saree can accomplish that…
p.s. – they look like bad bridesmaids dresses!
Very messy
So Ninon Palisse, who finished design school in 2008 (yes, I Googled), gets to head the “design house” Vizyon because she’s French, so automatically everything she does is tres chic? Phtbhpppp…
Yawn
Only the first and 2nd dresses are so so. The rest, too much going on. You are OUT.
