Vidya attended an event on Saturday wearing a printed black sari by Punit Balana with earrings from Sangeeta Boochra. Love the sari and the earrings. The middle-parted hair though, not so much.

Care to elaborate? I think the middle parting makes her look chic. Excited to see her looking good after a long run of frumpy sarees and unflattering blouses.
Question, how do celebs get sarees to look this tapered in the lower half of the body? (As opposed to a straight “cylinder” shape that most regular people in sarees have). Is it because of wearing tights rather than a petticoat? Or is it just the right way to pose in a saree??
they’re probably wearing non-regular underskirts, possibly shapers with some spandex and slits 🙂
Fish tail inskirt perhaps? Along with the type of saree fabric
Fitted petticoats are easily available these days.
