  1. I watched Parineeta recently and Vidya Balan’s gorgeous face gets better and better every year. I want to blast the stylist who led her adopt that relentless pose however. It’s a little severe for a saree look.

    • Imagine the styling and softness a saree lends to body but all these fierce saree looks trying to empower women. Parineeta was the best personification of it, in reality this is how it’s lost. This look is gorgeous on Vidya, I do miss her giving her hair free movement though..

        • No I don’t care about poses anyway, it’s only few seconds for pictures. I was talking about the parineeta reference, the movie had such easy saree looks and in reality we’re doing all sorts of gimmicks to make a saree look powerful.

    • She looks lovely and that lip color plays well with the black. Just wish she’d worn her hair down. They severe hairstyle doesn’t match the cocktail saree vibe!

  2. Her face could launch a thousand ships, figuratively 🙂

Off late, I find her coming across (in pictures) as more confident and comfortable being herself. I think that’s most important.

I recollect some of her earlier style outings where her discomfort was visible and she looked like she was forcing herself to experiment.

  3. Oh wow.. very clean and glam.

    Clean as in minimalistic.

I am kinda glad that the Color of the sequins is not visible. Can’t imagine it being a good combination!

  4. She looks nice. Her new stylists have helped her find what suits her. She has been having a great run after she hired her. Also, kudos to her for giving a chance to a couple of blooming stylists and also for promoting myriad Indian fabrics and designers.
