Tisca attended the launch of Urvashi Kaur‘s Spring 2015 collection in Delhi on Wednesday evening wearing a tie and dye sari from the recent collection complete with the checked obi-style belt.
Loved her in the sari but am not sure if the cuff belonged in the look.

Not sure if the belt belongs to the look.. Reminds me the look of just delivered mom’s who tie a cotton cloth around the waist in villages.
Yep..thats what came to my mind too…does not look like a belt at all..
Why can’t she wear it like a normal sari?? The belt looks very odd.
Loved the saree…but hate the belt…looks so weird. Also the drape could be better…too long. The blouse style makes her look a little boxy.
Super chic! I would love to wear this sari. I don’t mind the cuff as well.
You know she usually has it pretty together. This is definitely an exception. Nothing in this look works for me from head to toe.
The blouse and belt don’t work. The belt pattern reminds me of a kitchen towel. The sari itself, with that light-colored border, is making her look shorter, or on stilts. There are clothes which use color blocking to make you look thinner, taller etc. – this sari is doing the reverse.
Oh is that a belt? I just thought its a piece of cloth tied around the waist. It sure looks weird. Why on earth would someone ever wear such a thing? And not expected from Tisca who usually gets it right
To her credit Ms Chopra looks confident & stylish in this average sari. In fact she rises above most clothes by dint of her personality
Stunning in saari. Loved it immensely, Awesome color & Fab print.
That belt looks like a gamcha to me…the sari looks lovely though!
Ditto. Was just going to write the idea is a gamcha but poor execution and very fussy. Sanjukta styles more innovatively.
Love the saree. Hate the belt. But she carries the saree well. I would have added an antique silver necklace or a pair of silver earrings instead.
Am not a fan of the belt and the blouse. But it’s an interesting look.
I like the concept of the belt, but it should have been a better one- more structured like an actual obi, with the tasseled belt and all, rather than just looking like a dishcloth as it is here.
Interesting print but belt and blouse are off. Also the pleat draping seems too long. Not a huge fan of the look
Ahh! This could’ve been such a great look without the belt. It sticks out like a sore thumb.
