Tillotama was seen at the reception in a metallic stripe sheer overlay jacket and pant set. It was quite an offbeat pick and I totally loved it. You?

  1. Totally digging it too! It’s funky, chic and so her. She GETS fashion and has fun with it. I always look forward to her sightings on this page

  2. I think this is a little too simple for a wedding reception. She could’ve at least worn a brighter color.
But otherwise, it’s a cool look!

  3. She is rocking the look but who wears this for a wedding reception? She has done elaborate looks for movie promos but wore this to a wedding event. Talk about inverted logic.

  4. It’s interesting that some people get a pass for wearing shapeless clothes (like Tilottama or Neha) while for others there are comments about how the ‘silhouette is too boxy’ or the ‘lip colour is not perky enough’.I wonder if it is about the creation of a personal brand. If the brand is that of a quirky experimentator, then anything is permissible, never mind its aesthetic appeal or event appropriateness. If the brand is more conforming, then any blurring of boundaries is seen as off-brand and the look is criticized for being too adventurous

  5. I love it! Festive without making a desperate grab for eyeballs, as it should be at someone else’s wedding. Tillotama has a distinct personal style, and always seems to be having fun with her fashion choices. Always good to see some individuality.

  6. She rocks it! I do think it was meant to be a fun reception party?
The only thing I would change is the handbag. A shoulder bag doesn’t work here.

  7. I don’t think it’s event-appropriate, but I do like what she’s wearing and nevertheless looks good in it. She reminds me of Kiran Rao.
