In Anita Dongre
Tamannaah was seen at the Laishram-Hooda wedding reception in a sari from Anita Dongre’s latest collection paired with a gold potli. Compared to previous outings, this made for a very welcome change. She looked nice. Having said that, I find this perfectly centeredd pallu draping so odd. A sari is supposed to be effortless but these days the way our leading ladies drape it, it feels anything but. Just me feeling that way?

Couldn’t agree more. this is very Rahul Mishra/Sabya coded sari IMO.
Style of drape ruined the look
This saree is lovely.Had the drape been more classic or even neater she would have looked good.As is 2.5/5
.Nice saree… Tacky drape.. sad to see bollywoodised Tamannah
Sloppy drape. The eagerness to display the bra blouse is mind boggling
Well said. That eagerness is among a lot of the bollywood crowd.
The Saree can conceal as much as it can reveal depending on how its draped.
Need a couple of top stars to drape more classic and the rest will follow
100% with you. I can somewhat understand newbies “taming” the saree with pins and hair irons but this insistence on turning it into a facsimile of a tailored garment is insufferable.
Wow, how does a drape like this one stay put all evening? Tacky, I think…. terribly!
She is more decked up than the bride herself. Sober is a word in the dictionary too – Bollywood ladies , take note.
I thought at least she wouldn’t take this route. Alas!
These days I see many designers are taking inspiration from Sabya! But Tamannah looks lovely.
